Kee Wah Din Grapes

KeeWahDin (Osbu x Baco Noir) Bred by the late Byron T. Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio. The character of the blue-black fruit of KeeWahDin is much like Baco Noir, but more acid, Berries and clusters are small, about the size of the native Vitis riparia. Byron said malo-lactic fermentation improved the wine. Extremely vigorous, the rampant vine is hardy to at least -35 F. Prune it to canes to get a good weight of crop because of the small berries and clusters.
